Newstaff Employment is hiring a skilled Injection Mould Toolmaker in Stevenage to manufacture, modify and maintain high-precision mould tools. In this role, you will work within a newly fitted toolroom and use advanced machinery to support efficient injection moulding production.
Location: Stevenage
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum + Benefits
Working Hours: Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture and maintain injection mould tools with precision; therefore, production runs efficiently and consistently.
- Operate CNC machines, lathes and milling machines to produce high-quality tooling components.
- Use CNC wire erosion equipment to create detailed tool parts.
- Assemble, test and modify moulds to ensure they meet strict quality standards.
- Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs to minimise downtime.
- Wire hot runner systems and carry out fault finding when required.
- Use hand tools such as files, hacksaws and grinders to complete finishing work.
- Document tooling specifications and processes clearly for quality control.
- Work closely with colleagues to improve tooling performance and efficiency.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Approximately four years’ experience in injection mould toolmaking.
- Strong understanding of injection moulding processes.
- Experience operating CNC machinery and manual toolroom equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings confidently.
