Join Our Team at Newstaff Employment Services! We are currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operatives to be a part of our dynamic warehouse operations. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring products are received, stored, and shipped efficiently while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and safety.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Picking and packing items
- Sending items out to customers
- Packing into bags or boxes
- Keeping the workspace organized
This role is essential to our operational success, and we are looking for individuals who are ready to contribute positively to our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving, checking, and storing incoming products
- Picking and packing orders accurately and timely
- Adhering to health and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborating with other team members to meet daily operational targets
- Keeping the warehouse area clean and organized
- Support other team members as and when needed
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a warehouse
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as required
- Strong numerical and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to work on own and in a team when other members need support
- Good level of English, both spoken and written as you will be picking by manual pick sheets
Location of work is in Pitsone LU7, must be able to get to location. Have safety boots and high viz.
