Newstaff Employment Services is recruiting for a Paralegal / Secretary to join the Conveyancing department of a successful law firm based in South West London. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience solely working in residential conveyancing. This role is office based.
Essential Skills:
- Must be a qualified Paralegal with at least 2 years residential conveyancing experience
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to multi-task and work well to deadlines
- Team player with a flexible approach
- IT proficient in MS Office and Excel
The Role:
- You will be assisting solicitors with all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions, including sales, purchases, transfers of equity and remortgages.
- Preparing and reviewing legal documentation such as contracts, title deeds and completion statements.
- Managing a small caseload of clients.
- All administrative tasks to include typing up of documents etc.
Monday to Friday 9 am to 5.30 pm (or 4 days a week considered). Salary: £35,000 pa + Benefits.
