HGV Class 2 Beavertail Driver – Hockliffe

Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced HGV Class 2 Beavertail Driver on behalf of our client based in Hockliffe. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting plant, machinery, and equipment safely across the UK while delivering a professional service to customers. Location: Hockliffe
Salary: £18.50 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, with overtime available
Job Type: Ongoing Temporary

Responsibilities

• Complete nationwide deliveries and collections of plant, machinery, and equipment
• Operate a Class 2 Beavertail vehicle safely and efficiently
• Load, secure, and transport equipment in line with transport regulations
• Carry out daily vehicle safety inspections and report any defects
• Maintain the vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness
• Complete delivery paperwork and driver records accurately
• Provide excellent customer service at every delivery and collection
• Follow all road transport, health and safety, and company procedures at all times

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous Beavertail or plant transport experience is preferred
• Good understanding of load restraint and transport regulations
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, flexible, and professional attitudeAbility to work independently and manage workloads effectively
