Join LOCALiQ, part of Newsquest Media Group, as a phone‑based Sales Professional representing trusted regional news brands. This is a consultative, telephone‑led role engaging directly with business owners to understand their goals and recommend tailored digital and print advertising solutions. You’ll build relationships, deliver effective campaigns, and contribute to client growth. Full training and support provided. Candidates must live within commuting distance and be available Monday–Friday during office hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and win new business through cold calling and outbound sales activity.
- Work to financial targets and KPIs, aiming to exceed monthly revenue goals.
- Manage and grow existing client accounts through ongoing support, upselling, and strategic recommendations.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline using a consultative sales approach.
- Build long‑term client relationships by delivering expert advice and exceptional service.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and successful campaign delivery.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activity, and LOCALiQ’s product offering.
- Represent LOCALiQ professionally as an ambassador for regional news brands.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Comfortable with outbound calling, generating opportunities, and securing new business over the phone.
- Ability to nurture and grow existing accounts, spotting opportunities to increase client value.
- High standard of customer service with a client‑focused, consultative approach.
