Key Responsibilities
- Outbound calling to identify and win new business across your region using cold calling and proactive sales techniques.
- Work to clear financial targets and KPIs, consistently striving to exceed monthly revenue goals.
- Manage and grow existing client accounts, providing ongoing support and spotting upsell opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, moving prospects through the sales cycle with a consultative approach.
- Build long‑term client relationships through expert advice and exceptional service.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and campaign delivery.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and LOCALiQ’s evolving product suite.
- Represent LOCALiQ with professionalism and credibility as a trusted ambassador for our regional news brands.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Strong communication and influencing skills – confident speaking with business owners and decision‑makers.
- Outbound calling experience – comfortable picking up the phone, starting conversations, and creating opportunities.
- Proven ability to secure new business over the phone – skilled at asking the right questions, handling objections, and closing deals.
- Ability to grow and nurture existing accounts, spotting upsell opportunities.
- Exceptional customer service – committed to delivering a seamless experience every time.
- A consultative, client‑focused approach – listening, learning, and tailoring solutions to client goals.
- Proven B2B sales experience (advantageous) – or a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Understanding of multimedia advertising (advantageous) – digital and print knowledge is a plus, but full training provided.
- Able to commute daily – based within reach of the office and happy to work collaboratively on‑site.
