LOCALiQ are currently recruiting for a talented Video Editor to join our growing video production team. Working as part of a lively and collaborative team, you will support our videographers by editing and producing high-quality video content for a wide range of clients and campaigns. From initial brief through to final delivery, you’ll shape raw footage into engaging, effective content that reflects each client’s brand, objectives and target audience. The content you produce will be used across digital media, advertising and marketing campaigns, so a strong understanding of storytelling, pacing and audience engagement is key. Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and produce high-quality video content using footage provided by the videography team.
- Interpret client briefs, scripts and concepts to deliver content aligned with brand objectives.
- Transform raw footage into engaging, audience-focused content across digital and marketing channels.
- Ensure all content is delivered on time and to a high standard, meeting agreed deadlines and budgets.
- Collaborate closely with videographers and the wider video team across multiple projects and regions.
- Contribute to creative discussions and support the development of video concepts.
- Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously, maintaining strong organisation and workflow management.
- Build positive working relationships internally and represent LOCALiQ professionally when working with clients.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:
- Proven experience in video editing, ideally within a digital, media or agency environment.
- Strong experience using Adobe Premiere Pro or similar editing software, with colour grading capability.
- Good understanding of storytelling, pacing and creating engaging video content.
- Strong technical knowledge of video formats, editing workflows and outputs.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to take and apply creative feedback constructively.
- Understanding of digital marketing or social media content is beneficial.
- Experience with Adobe After Effects or other Adobe tools (audio, design, photography) is advantageous but not essential.
