About the job: One of the UK’s largest and most significant aviation infrastructure programmes has engaged our services to appoint a Programme Lead to manage the systems integration on this £multi-bn project. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant contribution to an infrastructure asset that will transform the country.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end integration across the airfield, terminal and airspace programmes, ensuring that assets, technologies, and processes function as a coherent whole from day one of operations.
- Lead delivery of airport systems projects to safety, time, quality and cost (such as baggage, ATC, security, passenger processing). This portfolio will grow as the programme progresses.
- Develop collaborative relationships with external stakeholders and internal programme managers to create a best-in-class operational airport.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Strong experience leading project integration across complex infrastructure programmes (aviation, rail, or nuclear for example).
- And/or experience leading complex systems projects across the full lifecycle (such as baggage systems, rail signalling, ATC etc).
- A clear and confident leader, able to set direction, bring people with you, and create a strong sense of purpose across a large team.
- Strong experience building and leading multi-disciplinary teams and putting the right structure and people in place to deliver.
- Able to deliver in fast-moving, changing environments where priorities can shift.
- Engineering Qualification (Electrical or Mechanical preferred).
