Our client, a leading international advisory consultancy, is seeking to appoint an Infrastructure Transactions Lead to join its established Infrastructure Advisory team. This appointment will strengthen a market-leading transactions advisory capability that supports investors, lenders, grantors, operating companies and project developers undertaking complex transactions across the UK and internationally in transport, energy transition and social infrastructure. They provide Commercial Due Diligence, Technical Due Diligence, as well as Traffic & Revenue forecasting services on transactions.
The successful candidate will operate as a senior member of the team, responsible for originating, winning and delivering high-value consulting assignments including Commercial Due Diligence, Technical Due Diligence and revenue forecasting services, while contributing to the continued growth and diversification of the team's capabilities. This is a rare opportunity to join a highly respected advisory business offering exposure to complex, high-profile infrastructure investments.
Responsibilities:- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of advisory work through active client and stakeholder engagement.
- Originate, win and lead infrastructure transaction assignments across the transport, energy transition and social infrastructure sectors.
- Act as Project Director on consulting assignments, ensuring consistent application of best-practice delivery methodologies.
- Provide commercial leadership, contributing to business performance and strategic decision-making.
- Support proposal development and cross-sell advisory services from across the wider business.
- Diversify and evolve the transactions advisory offer in line with growth strategy.
- Lead by example through mentoring, coaching and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
- 10+ years' experience in infrastructure transactions advisory or a closely related discipline.
- Proven track record delivering either Commercial Due Diligence, Technical Due Diligence or Traffic & Revenue forecasting assignments.
- Experience supporting transactions across either transport sectors (e.g. rail, rolling stock, toll roads, urban transit, bus, ports), energy transition or social infrastructure.
- Demonstrated ability to originate opportunities and generate significant incremental revenue.
- Strong commercial judgement with excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing multiple complex consulting projects in parallel.
- Proven ability to develop long-term client relationships and convert opportunities into secured work.
- Demonstrated experience in coaching, developing and leading high-performing teams.
