An industry-leading contractor in the electrification and infrastructure sector is seeking a Project Delivery Director – Energy to lead and oversee strategic project delivery across England and Wales. With an expanding portfolio of T&D infrastructure work, this is an exciting opportunity to take on a key leadership role shaping the delivery of large-scale energy programmes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for regional performance, stakeholder engagement, operational delivery, and strategic development, reporting directly to the Regional Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and implement regional business strategies aligned with national energy objectives.
- Oversee operational delivery of multi-disciplinary energy and infrastructure projects.
- Monitor project performance, ensuring quality, compliance, and commercial success.
- Drive business development by identifying growth opportunities and strengthening client relationships.
- Recruit, develop, and lead high-performing regional delivery teams.
- Represent the business across regional forums and stakeholder meetings.
- Deliver consistent financial and performance reporting to senior leadership.
- Extensive leadership experience delivering complex Energy or Transmission & Distribution projects.
- Must have contractor experience.
- Proven track record of business improvement and performance optimisation.
- Excellent commercial awareness and financial management skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Technical understanding of T&D systems and infrastructure delivery.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel regionally.
