Job Duties
- Support the Procurement Business Manager in delivering professional procurement services across Health Boards and Trusts.
- Assist in implementing procurement processes and supporting strategic procurement projects.
- Act as a procurement interface between NWSSP and partner organisations.
- Support category work planning and communicate procurement priorities across stakeholders.
- Work with departments to incorporate procurement input into business planning activities.
- Promote uptake of negotiated contracts and support procurement compliance initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to cost reduction, service improvement, and product standardisation initiatives.
- Assist in preparing procurement documentation and supporting sourcing activities.

Job Requirements
- Knowledge of procurement principles through NVQ Level 3, Advanced Certificate in Procurement and Supply, or equivalent procurement experience.
- Experience working in procurement, sourcing, contracting, or purchasing functions.
- Understanding of contract law and procurement processes.
- Ability to interpret technical and commercial specifications for procurement activities.
- Experience supporting tender processes, supplier evaluations, and contract administration.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams.
- Ability to work effectively under deadlines and manage competing priorities.
- Competence in Microsoft Office applications and document preparation.
