This position is a first-opinion Veterinary Surgeon role within a well-established practice, working alongside an experienced Lead Vet and a long-standing clinical team. The role is offered on a part-time basis at 20 hours per week across two days, with the option to build to full-time hours when paired with another local Medivet practice. The role focuses on delivering high-quality clinical care, building strong client relationships, and contributing to a progressive and collaborative veterinary culture.

Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality clinical care during consultations and surgical procedures
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients, providing regular updates on patient care
- Prepare accurate, tailored treatment and care plans with transparent cost estimates
- Maintain the highest standards of regulatory, clinical, and operational compliance
- Mentor, support, and develop colleagues to enhance team performance
- Complete effective clinical handovers and arrange out-of-hours or enhanced patient care when required
- Share best clinical practices across the practice and the wider Medivet network
Requirements
- RCVS registration as a Veterinary Surgeon
- Proven experience delivering exceptional patient and client care
- Strong ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team
- Demonstrated clinical leadership and mentoring skills
- Experience supporting nurse consults and Schedule 3 procedures
- Understanding of progressive clinical culture and practice efficiency
- Strong communication, coaching, and influencing skills
