Job Duties:
- Design and conduct remote entanglement experiments for quantum networking applications.
- Benchmark and improve ion trapping systems using advanced micro cavity technologies.
- Mentor junior physicists while supporting technical growth and development.
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot complex laboratory systems and equipment.
- Collaborate with software, optical, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams.
- Communicate project progress, findings, and priorities across technical teams.
- Promote laboratory safety, documentation standards, and operational reliability.
- Identify opportunities to improve automation, scalability, and experimental performance.
- Support technical strategy development and long term research objectives.
