Your Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Product Manager to join our team. As a Product Manager at The Times Travel, you will be responsible for developing and growing our travel products and services.
Reporting to the Head of Partnerships, your responsibilities include managing a portfolio of travel categories, overseeing product development, campaign management across print and digital channels, account management of third-party partners, and supporting the growth of direct-to-consumer travel revenues for The Times & Sunday Times Travel.
Day-to-day you will:
- Source appropriate travel products aligned with editorial content, market insights, and audience preferences to be featured across print, digital, and email platforms, with calls to action that drive sales.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with travel partners, negotiate campaign proposals, hold regular trading meetings, and monitor performance to meet revenue targets and expand partnerships.
- Utilize booking data and market insights, liaise with partners to feature products that maximize revenue and cater to different distribution channels.
- Manage the end-to-end process for digital and print marketing, including booking space, briefing designers, sourcing offers, setting up tracking, reviewing copy, submitting assets, and analyzing campaign performance.
- Manage relevant products within the CMS, ensuring they are merchandised online alongside content via trip cards and affiliate links, with support from Merchandising and Affiliate Executives.
What we are looking for from you:
- Experience in a product or trip creation role within the travel industry, including negotiation and product development.
- Understanding of the travel market, with experience in online travel environments and knowledge of domestic and international travel trends.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
- Driven, results-oriented, and highly organized, capable of working to deadlines.
