Your Team: The Sun is one of the UK’s strongest brands and is growing rapidly in a fast-moving digital world. More than just a newspaper, it is an entertainer, a cultural reference point, and a daily relationship with our audience. Our product team owns several key digital products, including Sun Savers, Sun Web and Mobile Apps, and the Sun Classic digital newspaper.
Your Role: Working within the Sun product team, you will collaborate closely with our Editorial team to build out a compelling roadmap for the Newsroom. You will lead projects from discovery through to implementation, playing a key role in shaping the future of our products while reporting to the Head of Product. This is an exciting opportunity to use data to drive decisions and implement features that align with a high-impact product strategy.
Day to day you will:
- Balance short-term delivery with a long-term platform vision, making trade-offs explicit and maintaining momentum across your workstream.
- Manage the product roadmap for your area, providing clear options to stakeholder groups to gain approval.
- Collaborate with wider Technology teams to ensure they have a deep understanding of requirements at an early stage.
- Lead the end-to-end management and delivery of products in line with business and product strategy.
- Nurture relationships with teams throughout the organisation to ensure successful and seamless product deliveries.

- Demonstrate a track record of leading digital product teams within fast-paced media, publishing, or consumer tech environments.
- Show a deep understanding of WordPress.
- Communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
