Your team: Situated within News UK’s commercial department (The Bridge), the Strategic Development team is tasked with driving revenue through expertise, thought leadership, and innovation whilst creating the foundations for future revenue streams. You will report into the Strategic Partnerships Lead and work closely with individuals from the team as well as key stakeholders from our businesses.
Your role: As Affiliates Manager, you’ll define and realise our affiliate strategy for TalkSport, establishing and nurturing our affiliate network to ensure that our users can readily purchase the right products and services for them. You’ll be a commercially astute self-starter, who thrives as part of a tight team and essentially, you’ll be passionate about innovation and affiliates in ecommerce.
Day to day you will:
- Build the affiliate network identifying, negotiating, onboarding and nurturing relationships with direct affiliates and affiliate aggregators.
- Ensure our existing and new affiliate partners have a great experience working with TalkSport with smooth in life processes from contract management to product development.
- Work with the ecommerce writers to design and optimise ecommerce journeys to create a high quality user experience that best meets user and affiliate needs.
- Assist with partnership content commissioning.
- Health check our existing publisher accounts on networks like AWIN, CJ, Rakuten, Partnerize, Impact, and ShareASale.
- Manage the affiliate portfolio to realise its full revenue potential.
- Ensure campaign tracking is at all times correctly deployed and up-to-date.
- Analyse affiliate performance providing insight for content optimisation and product strategy.
- Control invoicing and billing for affiliate and ensure accurate, up to date revenue reporting.
