Your Role
Reporting to the Head of Product, you will take ownership of key digital initiatives across our Newsroom to help shape the future of one of Britain's most iconic brands. You will act as the primary strategic bridge between editorial ambition, commercial requirements, and engineering capacity, ensuring our digital platforms remain robust, scalable, and future-ready. This is a leadership position where you will inspire a team of product managers to deliver impactful digital experiences to millions of readers.
Day to day You Will
- Deliver a clear and impactful vision for digital products in alignment with wider business goals and audience needs.
- Enhance newsroom capabilities by optimising editorial workflows to enable the quick delivery of multiformat content.
- Lead and mentor a team of product managers, providing guidance and support to help them grow and deliver their best work.
- Establish a robust data framework for internal tools, using usage metrics to prioritise high-value features and manage technical debt.
- Drive the practical integration of AI and emerging technologies directly into the publishing workflow to augment journalist capabilities.
