You will be joining the Marketing team at The Sun, a fast-paced and high-energy department dedicated to growth. This team is the driving force behind building our audience and driving subscriptions, working at the heart of one of the UK’s most iconic newsbrands.
Reporting to the Head of Acquisition, you will play a vital role in coordinating and executing marketing activity across our acquisition funnel. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic media environment, ensuring our campaigns are strategically aligned and delivered with impact.
Day to day you will:
- Support the building and management of the always-on and tactical campaign calendar.
- Coordinate end-to-end campaign planning to ensure messaging, media, and creative are aligned with our goals.
- Liaise with internal teams, including editorial, commercial, and social, to source assets and creative approvals.
- Maintain key documentation such as campaign timelines, performance trackers, and post-campaign reviews.
- Monitor ongoing campaign performance to identify opportunities for growth or risks to the acquisition team.
What we’re looking for from you:
- Experience in a marketing, media, or campaign coordination role within an agency or in-house environment.
- Proven ability to manage projects with strong organisational skills.
- Clear communication style with the ability to work collaboratively across different teams and stakeholders.
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing channels and general campaign principles.
- A proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, fast-paced setting.
