Your Team: You will be joining the Programmatic Revenue Operations team, the central hub responsible for the strategic management and technical optimization of our digital ad stack across Web, App, and Video platforms. This team acts as the vital bridge between Ad Tech, Sales, and Product to ensure our premium inventory is monetized effectively.
Your Role: As the Programmatic Revenue Operations Manager, you will be our in-house industry expert, leading the charge on all aspects of programmatic revenue operations. Reporting to the Head of Programmatic, you will drive yield optimization and manage high-level technical integrations to ensure our world-class inventory reaches its full potential. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the monetization strategy for some of the UK’s most iconic media brands.
Day to day You Will:
- Deliver the programmatic monetization strategy across Display, Online Video, and App inventory.
- Establish processes and evolve best practices for managing programmatic ad technology partners and the Open Market.
- Optimize the programmatic SSP stack, including Price Floors, Header Bidding (Prebid) configurations, and Unified Pricing Rules (UPR).
- Evaluate opportunities with new programmatic partners, Identity solutions, and industry trends to drive revenue growth.
- Implement, test, and review programmatic technologies within the ad stack framework to ensure minimal impact on page latency.
- Collaborate with internal developer teams to project manage the roll-out of new products and ensure the robustness of integrations like ads.txt and CMP.
- Troubleshoot technical issues regarding ad delivery, discrepancies, and creative quality.
- Monitor programmatic deal health (PMPs and Programmatic Guaranteed) with a focus on revenue yield.
- Support finance teams with billing and reconciliation queries for programmatic revenue.
What we’re looking for:
- Comprehensive knowledge of the digital publishing landscape, specifically regarding Video and Display formats on Desktop, Mobile, and App.
- Experience navigating Google Ad Manager (GAM) and programmatic supply-side platforms (SSPs) to manage complex ad stacks.
- Experience working with Header Bidding (Prebid.js) and Amazon Publisher Services (TAM/UAM).
- A firm grasp of the RTB marketplace, including auction dynamics, bid density, and win rates.
- Understanding of modern privacy and identity challenges, such as cookie deprecation and GDPR/TCF compliance.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to interpret yield data to make informed adjustments that meet revenue targets.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate data in Excel or Google Sheets to drive decision-making.
- Highly organized communicator who can explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-starter attitude with the ability to take initiative on revenue projects with minimal supervision.
