Times Media: Times Media houses some of the world’s most trusted and revered news brands, including The Times, The Sunday Times, Times Radio, Times Literary Supplement, and Times Money Mentor. Our content is consumed by millions around the world each month across print, digital platforms, third-party platforms, audio, and video.
Your role: We’re seeking a passionate leader to grow our B2B subscription partnership activity at Times Media. You will drive sales and expansion of our subscription offerings across various industries, including corporate, educational, governmental, and other brand-aligned partners. You will lead a team of sales and account managers, executing strategy while maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders internally and externally.
This senior, high-visibility role offers the opportunity to shape and implement our B2B subscription strategy, contributing directly to the growth of our digital subscription business.
Role-based at News UK head office in London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a B2B subscription growth strategy to increase sales for The Times and Sunday Times across industries.
- Lead the team in identifying new opportunities, focusing on long-term relationships and large deals.
- Align strategic goals with overall business objectives and revenue targets.
- Collaborate with marketing, editorial, product, and tech teams to develop tailored subscription solutions.
- Identify new industry verticals and untapped partnership opportunities.
- Drive outreach to establish strategic partnerships with new and existing businesses.
- Develop pricing models and subscription packages based on market data and client needs.
- Lead and develop sales and account management teams aligned with growth goals.
- Foster a results-oriented culture focused on growth and long-term partnerships.
- Build and maintain relationships with senior industry leaders and decision-makers.
- Represent The Times and Sunday Times in negotiations, industry events, and partnership discussions.
- Report regularly to senior management on performance, opportunities, and challenges.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in B2B sales, partnerships, or business development, ideally in media, publishing, or subscription services.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- High energy, confidence, and influencing ability across teams.
- Successful track record in strategic sales planning and execution.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Understanding of subscription models and complex high-value partnerships.
- Ability to develop pricing and subscription packages tailored to clients.

Work Policy: We operate a hybrid working model with a minimum of three days in the London office to facilitate collaboration and innovation. Some roles may require more office days, so please discuss with your recruiter.
