Your Team
The Activation Team is an integral part of the News Broadcasting sales division, transforming sold commercial partnership deals into branded content and radio executions across our social, digital and radio platforms. We ensure clients' expectations of delivery are met and work closely with News UK brands on joint campaigns. You will join a collaborative team of 10 Project Managers and Assistants, reporting to the Head of Activation.
Your Role
We are hiring a Commercial Project Assistant, this is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the Activation Team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will support the team in activating commercial partnership campaigns for a range of clients across on‑air, social, and digital platforms. Day to day you will:
- Help to script and proofread on‑air competition scripts and live reads
- Track branded content campaigns to ensure successful delivery
- Liaise with competition winners
- Clip and edit audio content to share with our clients
- Source and distribute prizes for competition winners
- Assist with the smooth running of location shoots and outside broadcasts
- Collaborate with Programming, Creative, and Social teams across all our brands
- Manage small to medium projects independently
- Provide essential administrative support to the wider team
