At Newrest we are offering an exciting opportunity for passionate chefs with an Oriental/Chinese specialism to join our growing team at Manchester. If you thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment and take pride in creating high quality, authentic dishes, this role will give you the chance to showcase your skills on an international stage.
Working alongside experienced chefs, you’ll help deliver exceptional inflight dining experiences for global passengers while developing your creativity, expanding your culinary expertise and being part of a supportive and energetic team.
- Rate of Pay: £16.85 per hour, plus flat rate overtime
- Shift: 4 on 2 Off, rolling roster
- Hours: Various start times, you must be able to work all shifts on rotation
You must be flexible to work shifts as operations run seven days a week (including evenings and public holidays), and you will be required to extend shifts depending on operational requirements.
Please note that as this position is in the aviation industry, your offer would be subject to security clearance – this requires a 5-year employment reference check. If you are invited to an interview, we would request that you bring a copy of your HMRC employment history.
We are looking for candidates that can commit to this role on a long-term basis, as such candidates must have the permanent, unrestricted right to work in the UK.
