- Roles and Responsibilities
- Performpre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections as standard security and safetyprotocol and report any issues immediately.
- Maintaincleanliness and hygiene of the vehicle and loading areas.
- Ensurevehicle is security checked and sealed by an authorised staff member beforedeparture with completed specified documentation.
- Drive HGV2(Class 2) trucks to transport catering trolleys, meals, beverages, andequipment to aircraft stands or airport terminals.
- Loadaircraft as per the galley plans and adhering to company policy.
- Load andunload catering on and off the truck at the unit and aircraft in a safe andtimely manner.
- Drive on toaircraft as per your training, ensuring you do not deviate from it at anypoint.
- Minormaintenance of vehicles i. e., top-up screen wash, ad-blue.
- Alwaysdrive adhering to airport, DVLA and local rules and or law.
Essential Skills and Requirements
- Valid UKHGV Category C (Class 2) licence.
- Valid CPC(Certificate of Professional Competence).
- Digital Tachograph card.
- Previousexperience in airline catering, logistics, or customer service preferred, butnot essential.
- A teamplayer who can effectively manage conflicting priorities in a fast-pacedenvironment.
- Goodcommunication and interpersonal skills.
