As a Flight Co-ordinator you will be responsible for the accurate, timely and secure delivery of inflight catering services to aircraft. This role serves as the key liaison between Newrest and airline staff, ensuring that all food, beverages, equipment and special meal requests are handed over according to airline specifications and within tight operational timelines.
You will play a critical role in maintaining service quality, compliance with aviation safety, hygiene standards and supporting a seamless inflight experience for airline passengers and crew.
Hours: 40 hours β 5 on 3 off shift pattern.
Shift Times: Start times from 3.00 am starts and finish times up to 21.30.
Rate: Β£15.75 per hour.
Location: Gatwick.
Contract Type: Fulltime, Permanent.
You must be flexible to work shifts as operations run seven days a week (including evenings and public holidays), you will be required to extend shifts depending on airside operational requirements.
Please note that as this position is in the aviation industry your offer would be subject to security clearance β this requires a 5-year employment reference check. If you are invited to an interview, you will be required to bring a copy of your HMRC employment history, tacho card and driver qualification card.
We are looking for candidates that can commit to this role on a long-term basis, as such candidates must have under four references in the previous five year at the date of application and have the permanent, unrestricted right to work in the UK.
