Help us get flights ready! We are looking for a Dispatch Allocator to work in a fast-paced aviation environment and help ensure every flight leaves fully prepared and on time. You will support the Transport Team in managing the daily operation, taking ownership and accountability for meeting operational objectives and targets. Co-ordinating inbound/outbound flight schedules and routing to drivers.
Shifts: Rotating Nine and half hour Shifts, 5 on 3 off
Hours: Various start times from 4am
Rate: £18.89 per hour

Roles And Responsibilities:
- Ensure off dock schedules are met.
- Ensure all inbound flights are de-catered and departing flights are catered in time to meet current SLAs.
- Liaise with airlines and their handling agents to ensure all departure times and current SLAs are met.
- Ensure block plans are checked and update the following day/weeks flights.
- Ensure block plans are followed and updated and Driver and TSA teams allocated to meet departure times and SLAs.
- Ensure all dispatch documentation follows CAA and DFT regulations.
- Ensure the correct vehicles are allocated for the correct requirement.
- Print tickets when out of hours aircraft or flight changes happen.
- Liaise with all departments in the event of aircraft or flight changes.
- Full and clear operational logs to be maintained and completed.
- Ensuring COSHH and HACCP are always adhered to.
- Conduct primary security checks of the airline equipment in accordance with both CAA and DfT regulations.
- Conduct vehicle security searches in accordance with both CAA and DfT regulations.
- Always interact with colleagues and clients on site in a professional manner.
- Comply with all unit Corporate, Social, Responsibility initiatives.
- Ensure you are aware and comply with QHSE policies & procedures.
Essential Skills:
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in catering (desirable).
- The ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Excellent communication, teamwork and customer service skills.
- Good literacy skills, verbal written and spoken.
- Operational awareness, understanding of HACCP, COSHH, DDA, Food Hygiene, Health and Safety and DFT requirements. (Role specific)
