As a Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of in-flight catering supplies and equipment to aircraft and airport terminals, ensuring compliance with aviation safety, hygiene standards and airside driving regulations. You will drive a designated route and have responsibility for catering and stripping aircraft.
Shifts: Rotating nine and a half hour shifts, 5 on 3 off.
Hours: Various start times between 4.00 and 13.00 and finish times between 13.30 and 22.30. Must be flexible to work shifts as operations run seven days a week (including evenings and public holidays), you will be required to extend shifts depending on airside operational requirements.
Rate: £18.73 per hour.
Overtime: 1.2 of hourly rate, after the completion of 173 hours in the payroll calendar month.
Please note that as this position is in the aviation industry, your offer would be subject to security clearance – this requires a 5-year employment reference check. If you are invited to an interview, we would request that you bring a copy of your HMRC employment history. A driving assessment will take place during your interview; you will be required to bring your CPC certificate, Tacho card and valid full UK driving licence on the day of the interview.
