Newrest has an exciting opportunity for the role of a Night HGV Driver. The driver is responsible for loading the catering consignment(s) onto a truck as per the daily load plan, flight schedule, and unloading of vehicle(s) at the unit. The driver must check that the load is safe and secure before driving the truck to the airfield via a designated route. All activities must be completed according to customer guidelines, in a timely manner, and in compliance with safety and security regulations. The driver is also responsible for stripping the aircraft overnight.
Reports To: Transport Manager / Shift Managers
Shifts: 4 on 4 off, rolling shift pattern, starting from 16:00 or 17:00
Pay: £18.70 per hour, 1.2x overtime
