Contract: Permanent

Location: Colnbrook, London Heathrow

Rate of Pay: £15.84 pending Salary Review 1 November 2026

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

You’ll be at the heart of the operation, supporting the Shift Managers by taking ownership of the day-to-day running of your area. You’ll be responsible for making sure our teams have everything they need to deliver safe, high-quality products, on time and to specification. Your day could include:

  • Leading and supporting your team, setting clear expectations and helping people perform at their best
  • Monitoring performance and output, identifying opportunities to improve and escalating issues when needed
  • Maintaining exceptional quality standards, ensuring products are presented and produced to the required specification
  • Making sure airline products are prepared, packed and dispatched correctly, ready for their journey to the aircraft
  • Managing stock levels, storage and rotation to make sure supplies are available and used effectively
  • Keeping production schedules on track and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Taking part in and where appropriate leading daily briefings and operational meetings
  • Supporting training and development, helping colleagues build their skills and confidence
  • Embracing continuous improvement and looking for smarter, better ways of working
  • Championing health, safety, quality and compliance, ensuring our standards and procedures are followed every day
  • Building positive relationships with colleagues, customers and clients through professional and excellent service

You’ll ideally have:

  • Experience in a catering or similar fast-paced operational environment (desirable)
  • Excellent communication, literacy and teamwork skills
  • The ability to plan, organise and manage a team's workload effectively
  • The confidence to monitor performance, give feedback and address issues constructively
  • An understanding of operational procedures, including HACCP and COSHH
  • The ability to work flexibly across different departments or units when required

If you do not have indefinite leave to remain in the UK, your Right to Work must have a validity of 1 year as at 1 October 2026.
