Salary: Up to £34,597 per year (including sleep-ins)

We’re seeking a Senior Residential Care Worker to take a leading role in our homes for children aged 8–18. Responsibilities

  • Be a role model to staff and young people
  • Provide direct support to children with complex emotional and behavioural needs
  • Lead shifts and ensure high standards of care are delivered
  • Oversee daily routines including meals, education, and personal development
  • Manage documentation, risk assessments, and behaviour plans
  • Supervise and support staff and participate in their development
  • Collaborate with external professionals (e.g., social workers, education providers)
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and safeguarding protocols

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Experience working in children’s residential care
  • Strong leadership qualities and ability to manage people and environments
  • A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach
  • A full UK manual driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and safeguarding best practices
