Newquay Junior Academy is seeking two caring, enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistant (SEND) to join our dedicated team.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with additional needs, helping them to thrive both academically and personally within our inclusive academy community.

Responsibilities
- Have experience of working with children, ideally including those with Special Educational Needs.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
- Support children with a range of additional needs, adapting learning where appropriate.
- Work closely with class teachers and the SENDCO to deliver targeted interventions and classroom support.
- Be patient, resilient and nurturing while maintaining high expectations.
- Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
