We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic individual to join our Management Team to work across our innovative and dedicated Childrens Services teams.
We are seeking a team member who can join us in ensuring we continue to deliver high quality services.
You will be interested in managing a range of teams across Childrens Services with opportunities to work creatively and bring about positive change.
Newport City Council Childrens Services has a stable workforce with a demonstrable record of improved practice and commitment to evidence based interventions to support children.
We have an ethos of care across our teams with a positive and supportive environment.
Educated to degree level in social work, you will have experience of childrens social care and regulated services as part of the role will include being a Responsible Individual.
You will have experience of working successfully with Members and Senior Managers on complex issues and the development of strategic direction.
Youll join us with a track record of managing services, proving clear advice on policy options and development.
Youll also be well versed in statutory, policy and legal frameworks.
This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
