The Newport Council's Private Sector Initiatives Team operates a range of services aimed at supporting the Welsh Government's vision to end homelessness, including implementing the Ending Homelessness Action Plan and developing a Rapid Rehousing Transition Plan.
We are seeking an Accommodation Finance Team Leader to play a pivotal role in driving change and improvement across all areas of income collection in Temporary, Transitional and Settled accommodation settings. To be successful in this role, you will need experience of providing housing services and a passion for making a difference. We are looking for someone willing to lead by example and work alongside their team. This is a high challenge, high support role.
You will be fully supported to deliver meaningful outcomes, shape services and make your mark in Newport. Role location – based in Newport city centre, this role also involves travel between properties. There is also an opportunity for some hybrid office/home working.
