Do you have a passion for local history? Are you motivated by technology? Do you enjoy working with the community? If so, Newport Libraries have the role for you. Fully funded by the Welsh government temporary, full time your role will be to support the Library Manager in identifying and digitising resources from the local history collection, in support of a geocaching app.

You will be the primary in-house expert of our new state of the art digital scanner, training other staff on its use whilst directly engaging with members of Newport's diverse populations, as part of the app's steering committee.
