Role Objective

Adapting a strategic approach, you will develop business with nominated specifying accounts proactively focusing on London, whilst additionally seeking new business opportunities, working primarily with Interior Designers, Hotels and Healthcare directly on specifications. You will be responsible for the achievement of all agreed business, projects and revenue targets.

Key Tasks

  • Daily face-to-face meetings with nominated accounts, targeting all key A&D and end-user specifying accounts.
  • Updating the company’s CRM system, recording information gathered.
  • Prospecting new clients and opportunities, developing a strategic plan to ensure the company’s presence across the region.
  • Identifying and following up all opportunities, ready for conversion to sales.
  • Gather market information and give regular feedback to Sales Manager & Marketing.
  • Work closely daily with internal sales team on implementing complete customer satisfaction.
  • Present and position the company & products in a professional, knowledgeable and enthusiastic manner.
  • Organise regular group presentations with key accounts, and widen reach by attending industry networking events and exhibitions, sometimes outside of regular working hours.
  • Create an accurate forecast/pipeline of business opportunities.
  • Achieve set annual individual project-specific sales revenue target, and additionally contributing to the overall turnover growth of the region.

Skill Set – Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years + Specification Sales field sales experience in commercial Interior finishes.
  • Contacts within Key specifying accounts in London – highly beneficial.
  • Experience working with interior designers, architects and end user specifying accounts.
  • Proven accomplished record of success in identifying and converting Key Accounts/clients & Projects revenue.
  • New Business-focused experience.
  • Team Player, must be prepared to work together and utilise back-office expertise at HQ and wider UK Sales team.
  • Experience in an interior / aesthetically pleasing related sales background in commercial interior finishes, such as wallcovering, soft furnishing fabrics, ceramics, lighting, and soft flooring.
  • Autonomous, driven and focused with excellent territory management and planning skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong well-developed negotiation skills.
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, energetic, approachable, self-motivated.
  • Must have excellent organisation skills and multilayered project management skills.
  • Consultative professional supportive approach.
  • Multisector experience required with ideally emphasis on Hospitality & Premium Healthcare.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Full Current Clean Driving License.
