We aim to change lives through better sight and eye health. We care for thousands of NHS and private patients a year in our specialist eye clinics across the country. We have significant growth plans over the next few years as we look to establish a national footprint and open many new sites across the UK.
We are looking for an Ophthalmic Assistant/Theatre Runner to join our site on a 12-month fixed-term basis. This will be a full-time role working 40 hours over 5 days per week. OAs/TRs are an integral part of both our clinic and theatre teams and will undertake a variety of duties. It’s a busy role; you will be seeing a number of patients each day, either in clinics or theatre, and the ideal candidate will thrive in an efficient and fast-paced environment. No two days will be the same, and equal time will be provided for both aspects of the role.
This is a great role to progress your clinical skills and will help in taking the first step on a clinical career path. There are opportunities to progress and develop with full in-house training in both clinic and theatre. Newmedica is committed to the growth and development of all of our colleagues, and the OA/TR role is a great platform to explore where your interests may be.
