We are currently seeking grooms and yard staff to join our team. Duties will include general care and welfare of patients as well as assisting with veterinary investigations and diagnostic procedures.
The hospital provides the highest possible standard of care and applicants must have a sound knowledge of equine welfare and husbandry, a good understanding of equine behaviour and be experienced in handling a variety of horses, including Thoroughbreds. An eye for detail and a positive and flexible approach to work are essential qualities; as are self-motivation, a cheerful disposition and the ability to work as part of a team. The successful applicant will be required to participate in the weekend and bank holiday rota.
