Senior Surveyor – Industrial Lease Advisory – London – London, United Kingdom JOB DESCRIPTION About the Team The Industrial team is made up of specialist surveyors offering strategic advice across Agency, Lease Consultancy, Business Rates and Valuation to both landlords and occupiers. The team act for clients such as Prologis, M&G, The Arch Co, Yodel, British Car Auctions & Wolseley To undertake a wide range of lease consultancy work including rent reviews and lease renewals for the landlords and tenants in order to produce the best possible result for the client. (The successful individual will be encouraged to develop their commercial awareness and interpersonal ability in order to pursue business development opportunities). To assist with development of the industrial lease consultancy business with investors, funds and occupiers. Negotiation of rent reviews, lease renewals and regears on behalf of landlords and tenants. To carry out property inspections, conduct negotiations and where required prepare third party submissions. To be a strong and effective negotiator on the client\\\\\\\’s behalf, to develop effective and long lasting relationships with our clients, using exceptional rapport building, questioning and summarizing skills. To develop and maintain a strong network of internal and external contacts and to use these contacts in order to further develop business for Newmark Technical knowledge in valuing a range of property types, experience in industrial would be beneficial Proven IT skills, including proficient use of Microsoft Office. Proactive, flexible and self-motivated with a real desire to deliver excellent customer service.
