Newmark is seeking an experienced Senior Surveyor to Senior Associate-level professional to join our established Residential Investment team in London .
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious surveyor with direct experience in the residential investment market to work alongside a market-leading team advising institutional, private equity, property company and private capital clients across a broad range of residential investment opportunities.
The successful candidate will be involved in the origination and execution of investment transactions , providing detailed market analysis, investment advice and financial appraisal across a range of residential sectors. This will include build-to-rent, PRS, affordable housing, student accommodation and wider residential investment strategies .
Key responsibilities
- Advising clients on the acquisition and disposal of residential investment opportunities.
- Preparing investment appraisals, cash flow analysis, comparable evidence and market commentary .
- Undertaking detailed analysis of income, yields, capital values and investment returns.
- Supporting the preparation of investment memoranda, marketing strategies and client presentations .
- Managing transactions from initial instruction through to completion.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, investors and other market participants.
- Contributing to business development and identifying new investment opportunities.
About you
- Senior Surveyor to Senior Associate-level experience within residential investment .
- Strong technical understanding of residential investment markets and transaction processes.
- Demonstrable experience in investment agency/advisory and financial analysis .
- Excellent analytical, numerical and report-writing skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to communicate complex investment analysis clearly.
- RICS qualification preferred, although relevant market experience will be considered.
