Newmark is a leading global commercial real estate advisory firm, offering integrated advice across agency, valuation, development, planning and consultancy. We have an opportunity for an influential and experienced Talent Development Manager with a proven track record to join our team. This role will see you designing, delivering, and managing learning and development to support the growth, capability and performance of our people as we integrate, transform and scale our UK and European businesses. This role will have at least one line report and will provide strategic support to the Head of Talent Development, Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Development Strategy: Supporting the Head of Talent Development in evolving the overall L&D strategy aligned with business objectives and talent development priorities for our UK and European businesses.
- Business Partnering: Working in collaboration with the HR Business partners, be a trusted advisor to leaders and managers across the business, consulting on learning needs, capability gaps, and strategic resource plans across the UK and European business groups.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and People Ops to deliver key talent management processes such as performance reviews, goal setting, development planning, and succession discussions ensuring we have a diverse pipeline of talent.
- Third party relationships: Sourcing and working in partnership with external learning and talent providers to ensure best in class, diverse ideas and perspectives.
- Inclusive Learning Design & Delivery: Create engaging, inclusive and bespoke learning content and programmes (face-to-face and digital) for technical, compliance, and leadership development.
- Lead the Emerging Talent Development programme for Newmark apprentices and graduates and regularly review our offering to ensure a sector-leading product.
- Corporate Induction: Design, lead and facilitate the Corporate Induction programme for the UK and European business.
- Coaching and Mentoring: Uses their expertise to coach managers and leaders where appropriate and leads on delivering impactful mentoring solutions.
- Compliance & Regulatory learning: Ensure compliance learning is fit for purpose and ensures positive engagement and completion across the business.
- Evaluation & Reporting: Proactively gains feedback for the Head of Talent Development and measures the effectiveness of learning interventions and provide insights to improve impact and engagement.
- Technology & Innovation: Leverage learning platforms, AI and digital tools to enhance accessibility and engagement.
What we are looking for
- Proven experience in learning and development within a property, real estate, or consultancy environment is ideal but not essential.
- Experience in creating and running apprentice and graduate development programmes.
