The Role
This is an interim appointment to provide site leadership and operational continuity during a defined transition period.
The Interim Plant Manager will provide leadership and oversight across a large-scale processing facility, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient performance across all site activities. The role holds responsibility for health, safety and environmental standards, plant operations, maintenance delivery and overall site performance within a safety-critical and regulated environment.
The position will involve overseeing maintenance programmes, managing site budgets and contracts, and ensuring the consistent delivery of operational objectives. Working closely with internal teams, contractors and external stakeholders, the role requires strong leadership, structured planning and the ability to maintain control of plant performance while driving reliability and operational efficiency.
Candidates will bring proven experience managing complex process or power generation facilities, with a strong understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance. A disciplined and hands-on leadership approach is essential, alongside the ability to manage diverse teams, oversee site performance and drive continuous improvement within a technically demanding and highly regulated environment.
Engagement can be structured on an inside or outside IR35 basis, subject to final determination.
