Our client is a well-regarded infrastructure contractor operating across a range of civil engineering environments. The business has a strong regional presence and delivers technically demanding projects where cost visibility, programme awareness and close collaboration with site teams are essential.

As a result of continued growth across the North West, they are now looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the management of live projects across the region.

The Role

The role will be responsible for maintaining clear visibility across assigned projects, ensuring cost, value, risk, change and cash flow are properly understood throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with operational, engineering and commercial colleagues, the successful candidate will support effective decision-making and help ensure projects are delivered in line with contractual and financial expectations.

The position will involve preparing and maintaining cost reports, forecasts, cost value reconciliations, valuations, applications for payment and final account documentation. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will also manage subcontract procurement and subcontract accounts, including tender enquiries, evaluation, order placement, payments and variations.

A working knowledge of NEC contracts, compensation events, change control and associated project records will be important. Candidates should bring experience within quantity surveying in construction, civil engineering, infrastructure, utilities or a comparable project-led environment.

The role would suit a commercially aware and organised individual who is confident working with site-based teams, able to manage detail accurately and comfortable taking ownership of agreed responsibilities in a fast-paced contracting environment.

To Apply

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing regional team and play a key role in supporting the successful financial performance of live infrastructure projects. Interested candidates are invited to apply accordingly. All submissions will be reviewed, and suitable candidates will be contacted directly.
