Known for combining product quality with strong technical expertise and responsive customer service, the organisation serves a broad range of clients including independent workshops, dealer groups, and national service chains. Continued investment in people, systems, and products creates an environment where employees can contribute to growth, develop their skills, and make a meaningful impact.

The Role

The Sales Manager will lead and develop a team of approximately seven Field Sales Executives to deliver sales growth across the Southern Region. The role requires a strong focus on both retaining and developing existing accounts, as well as identifying and securing new business opportunities in line with company plans.

Working closely with senior leadership, the Sales Manager will act as the key link between the field and head office, ensuring insights from customers and market intelligence inform business decisions. They will be responsible for coaching, training, and managing performance across the Field Sales Team, fostering a positive, results-driven culture. The position also involves contributing to annual budgeting and sales planning, monitoring costs, ensuring compliance with company processes, and maximising efficiency across all sales activities.

The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in managing and developing a dispersed field sales team within a B2B environment, with a track record of achieving and exceeding ambitious sales targets. Strong leadership, commercial acumen, and the ability to build long-term customer relationships are essential, along with a willingness to travel extensively and spend significant time in the field with the team. Sector experience within automotive, engineering, or technical products would be an advantage but is not essential.
