Newman Stewart are currently working on behalf of a Yorkshire-based client to source an outstanding candidate to step into the role of Channel Manager covering Southern Europe. With over 100 years of history in the market, this family owned and operated business produces a range of oils and lubricants for a wide variety of industries including food manufacturing and maritime. From their office and manufacturing plant in Leeds, they serve a global market and are committed to their strong company values and core behaviours.

The Channel Manager for Southern Europe will be tasked with increasing market share across the region. This will be achieved through:

  • Managing multiple sales channels, end users, agents and distributors to increase sales volume and profit according to an agreed sales strategy.
  • Understanding current route to market and building relationships with existing partners.
  • Building and maintaining a pipeline of new business to track and develop opportunities.
  • Negotiating the best achievable commercial agreements for product sales to achieve maximum profitability.
  • Being a strategic innovator with highly developed business networking and development skills.
