North West England

Our client is a growing construction business with a strong pipeline of work across the North West. Operating in a fast-moving project environment, the organisation places significant emphasis on safe delivery, practical problem solving and effective coordination across its site teams. As part of continued growth, they are now seeking to appoint a Site Agent to play a key role in managing day-to-day activity across live projects, joining a busy operational team where strong site leadership, organisation and communication will have a direct impact on delivery.

The Site Agent will take responsibility for day-to-day activity across live construction sites, ensuring works are planned, resourced and delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. Working closely with project leads, engineers, supervisors and site teams, the role will maintain control of labour, subcontractors, site records, short-term planning and progress against agreed site and programme requirements.

The projects will sit within the water and wastewater sector, supporting United Utilities’ Better Rivers framework. The Site Agent will work for the DD&B contractor on schemes designed to improve water quality and reduce CSO spills, including the construction of storm water detention tanks, both below-ground caissons and above-ground glass-coated steel tanks, CSO works, pumping stations, associated MEICA works, deep drainage and tunnelling works.

The position will involve coordinating site teams, plant, materials, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure activity is delivered in line with project expectations. The role will also involve supporting progress meetings, resource planning, RAMS, health and safety requirements, temporary works arrangements, inspection records and wider site documentation within a fast-moving contracting environment.

Candidates will bring experience in a site-based delivery role within construction, civil engineering, infrastructure, utilities or a comparable project-led environment. A practical and disciplined approach is essential, alongside the ability to direct activity on site, manage competing priorities and maintain strong standards of safety, quality and communication across live works.

This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of day-to-day site delivery within a growing regional contracting environment, joining a business with a strong pipeline of work and a clear requirement for capable site-led operators. Interested candidates are invited to apply accordingly. All submissions will be reviewed, and suitable candidates will be contacted directly.
