Our client is a growing business operating within the waste management and recycling sector, providing services to customers across construction, infrastructure and industrial markets. Through continued investment in its operations, infrastructure and people, the organisation is focused on improving resource efficiency, increasing material recovery and supporting its ongoing growth and development.
The Site Manager will take responsibility for the safe, efficient and compliant operation of a large-scale waste processing facility, with accountability for operational performance, health and safety, environmental compliance, maintenance and site standards. Leading through a team of Supervisors and operational personnel, the role will ensure effective control of day-to-day activity and consistent performance across the site.
A key focus will be establishing clear operating routines and disciplined ways of working whilst maintaining a strong focus on productivity, plant availability and asset reliability. The Site Manager will oversee preventative maintenance programmes and ensure equipment and site infrastructure are operated and maintained to a high standard. Working closely with engineering and operational functions, the role will also identify opportunities to improve efficiency, organisation, housekeeping and overall site performance.
The successful candidate will bring experience gained within manufacturing, processing, recycling, logistics or another industrial environment. Waste sector experience may be advantageous but is not essential. More important is the ability to introduce structure, maintain high standards and create a culture of accountability, ownership and continuous improvement across a busy operational site.
This is an opportunity to lead a significant waste processing operation within a growing organisation, with responsibility for strengthening operational standards, improving site performance and supporting continued growth. Interested candidates are invited to apply accordingly. All submissions will be reviewed, and suitable candidates will be contacted directly.
