Our client is a specialist manufacturer of automated equipment supplied into large-scale food production environments. Supporting high-volume processing operations across the protein sector, the business delivers engineered systems focused on improving product consistency, operational efficiency and production performance. As part of its continued development across North America, the organisation is seeking to appoint an experienced sales professional to support customer growth and market activity across the region.

The North America Sales Manager will be responsible for developing sales opportunities and managing customer relationships within the food processing sector. Operating within a consultative capital equipment sales environment, the role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, supporting existing accounts and progressing equipment projects through to successful commercial conclusion.

The position will involve working closely with food manufacturers to understand operational requirements and align them with appropriate solutions. Collaborating with engineering, applications and service teams, the successful candidate will support equipment demonstrations, manage proposal activity and maintain momentum across longer sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders. The role will also involve regular market engagement, pipeline reporting and participation in customer events and industry exhibitions throughout the territory.

Candidates will bring proven experience in food processing equipment, industrial automation or related capital equipment sales environments. Exposure to protein processing applications technologies would be advantageous, alongside strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage complex customer relationships across the sales region. A proactive and organised approach is essential, together with strong communication skills and the ability to operate effectively within a remote, travel-focused role.
