An established UK engineering and fabrication business is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to develop and grow its presence within the UK water industry. This is a senior, strategic role focused on building long-term relationships with water companies and contractor partners, navigating framework-led routes to market, and securing sustainable, specification-driven work in a highly regulated environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading business development activities across various areas of construction.
- Identifying and engaging with key contractors.
- Building and maintaining senior commercial, technical and procurement relationships.
- Navigating complex agreements and approved supplier routes.
- Working closely with engineering and operational teams to assess feasibility and value.
- Representing the business professionally across meetings, sites and industry events.
