This role is based on the outskirts of Bishop’s Stortford with an 8am start.
You must drive, have your own transport and be able to commute reliably and be within a reasonable distance from their location.
A leading organisation is looking for an enthusiastic IT Support/Helpdesk Engineer to join its friendly and supportive IT team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with commercial helpdesk, ticketing or end-user IT support experience who enjoys troubleshooting problems and helping people.
- WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Providing first-line IT support to end users
- Logging, updating and resolving support tickets
- Troubleshooting PCs, laptops, keyboards and other hardware
- Resolving software, login, password and licensing issues
- Supporting Microsoft 365 and Windows users
- Setting up laptops, PCs and user accounts
- Managing access, permissions and passwords
- Escalating more complex issues when required
- Delivering friendly and patient support to colleagues
- WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Commercial IT support, service desk or helpdesk experience
- Experience working with a ticketing system
- Confident troubleshooting of end-user hardware and software
- Microsoft 365 and Windows knowledge
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- A logical, calm and helpful approach
- Active Directory experience would be advantageous
- Comp TIA A+ or current study towards it would be beneficial
- A driver with their own transport, able to reach the location easily for an 8am start
