Are you an experienced Scheduler or Coordinator who knows how to keep engineers, tradespeople and contractors organised—and clients confidently informed? We are recruiting for a growing and successful business with an excellent reputation for service. You’ll be joining a friendly, committed team and a management team that genuinely encourages people to develop and progress internally.
This is a busy, responsible position coordinating maintenance and project work for commercial clients from the initial request through to completion and sign-off.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Receiving, assessing and logging new maintenance and project requests
- Scheduling engineers, tradespeople and external contractors
- Coordinating jobs according to priority, location and required skills
- Booking engineers and contractors onto commercial client sites
- Ensuring site-access requests and supporting information are processed correctly
- Checking trades and contractors in and confirming site arrangements
- Maintaining regular communication with clients, engineers and contractors
- Preparing and sending quotations
- Following up outstanding quotations and approvals
- Monitoring live jobs through to completion and client sign-off
- Keeping CRM records and project information accurate and up to date
- Producing and updating project reports
- Building positive, long-term relationships with commercial clients
- Managing changing priorities while maintaining accuracy and service standards
What we’re looking for:
You will ideally have previous coordination or scheduling experience gained within construction, property maintenance, facilities management or another engineer-led environment. You should also have:
- Experience coordinating projects, jobs, engineers, tradespeople or contractors
- Confidence arranging site visits and managing access requirements
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- The ability to prioritise and independently manage a busy workload
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication
- Experience building relationships with commercial clients
- Confidence updating CRM or job-management systems
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- A proactive approach to resolving problems and keeping work moving
