A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially minded Financial Controller to join a growing owner-managed business operating within the e-commerce, trade and consumer products sector. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment supplying kitchen appliances across multiple online channels including Amazon, Ebay and direct website sales, alongside a growing trade division.
The successful candidate will work closely with the business owner and senior leadership team, taking full ownership of finance whilst also helping improve reporting visibility, controls, operational processes and commercial decision making across the wider business. This role will suit a commercially aware Financial Controller who enjoys being close to the operational side of a business — someone who genuinely understands stock-led trading environments rather than purely producing month-end reports.
Key Responsibilities:- Production of monthly management accounts and full P&L reporting
- Creation of channel profitability reporting across Amazon, Ebay, website and trade sales
- Gross profit and contribution reporting by customer, product and sales channel
- Developing operational sales and margin reporting for account managers
